  Not impressed at all with Six Rivers. Pick up a six pack and enjoy it at home rather than sitting while having some kiddies blare your ears out in the “game room”. Friday at 6 pm: Slow service, mediocre food and overpriced fare made for a bad experience. If you want to enjoy the full experience, visit the men’s restroom. It is full of entertaining artwork from what must be flunky hoodlums as well as a top notch soap dispenser that has found its’ way to lie on the counter top.
  
  There are a lot of options available when it comes to breweries in the Humboldt area. If you’re coming from the South, check out Eel River for great brews along with good food and killer service. If you’ve already made it to Eureka, hit up Humboldt Cider for an awesome cider selection or Lost Coast for good beer, food and atmosphere. If you’re north of Eureka, hit up Mad River or flip a U-Turn and go back south.
